We strive to create a space for your kids to encounter Jesus! Your children are important to you and their spiritual life is just as important to us. Together with you, we want to partner in raising a generation that knows Jesus and His purpose for their life.

Our environments are intentionally designed for every child to freely worship and hear the Bible taught on an age appropriate level

We strive to create a space for your child to encounter Jesus! Not only do we want to see your child grow physically but also grow in their faith. We want to partner with you in raising a generation that knows Jesus and His purpose for their life.

Our nursery environment is intentionally designed for every child, even the newest baby to the family, to freely worship and learn basic truths of who Jesus is.

We are so thrilled that you are interested in dedicating your child to the Lord! At The Gathering, child dedication is where parents and the church partner together, committing to the Lord to lead them to seek a relationship with Jesus, know they are known & loved by God and live our His purpose for their life.

As parents, you play a pivotal role in the spiritual journey of your child (Proverbs 22:6). As a church, we commit to coming alongside you in this journey towards living out their purpose and pursuing a growing relationship with Jesus. When you dedicate your child, you are also committing to being an example of someone who pursues their own relationship with Jesus, live a life that glorifies Christ and exhibit characteristics of Jesus for your children

Child Dedication Questions

  • Yes! We offer child dedication for families that call the Gathering their home church, with children 2yrs or younger.

  • Yes! In dedicating your child to God, you state that you are willing to partner with God and the Church to raise your child to pursue the Glory of God. As a church, we are here to partner with you as the body of Christ and support you as a family. Calling The Gathering home means you are an active volunteer or giver, your child attends our kids ministry, or you are involved in a group. If you have any questions in this regard, please reach out.

  • Child dedications are not the same as Baptisms. Baptism is for an individual who has made a personal decision to put their faith in Jesus. Dedications are parents committing to live a life in a community that illustrates, for their children, what someone who seeks a growing relationship with Jesus and leads their child towards a life that pursues their God-given purpose

  • We offer it two to three times a year

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We offer kids ministry during normal Sunday services

  • Our hosts will help you get registered when you arrive at kid’s check-in.

  • Children birth to walking are promoted developmentally. Children 3 to 5 are promoted by age and elementary aged kids are promoted by grade, annually every fall.

  • For the safety and wellness of all, children who show signs of sickness will not be allowed into the kids environment. We require that children be fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medications) before entering the rooms. This is for the health and protection of all children, families, and volunteers.

    You are encouraged to bring your child back to us as soon as he or she is well. If an illness is discovered after a child is in the environment, your child will be separated from the other children and a member of our team will contact you immediately.
